How patients access their records, book appointments, and pay invoices.

Activating the patient portal

The patient portal is available at clinit.app/portal and as the Clinit Patient mobile app (iOS and Android).


To invite a patient:

  1. Open their patient profile
  2. Click Invite to Portal
  3. They receive an SMS/WhatsApp with a registration link

Alternatively, patients can self-register if you share your clinic's booking page URL (clinit.app/book/[slug]).

What patients can do

From the patient portal or mobile app, patients can:


  • View their upcoming appointments and session history
  • Download prescriptions as PDF
  • View and download invoices
  • Pay outstanding invoices via Paymob (card, Fawry, ValU)
  • Book new appointments at any of your branches
  • View their vaccination history (pediatric guardians)
  • Receive push notifications for appointment reminders
  • Update their contact details and emergency contacts

Patients cannot access other patients' records. They can only see their own data from your clinic.

Guardian access (pediatrics)

For pediatric clinics, parents and guardians can manage their children's records:


  1. Register the guardian as the primary account holder
  2. Add each child via My Children → Add Child in the portal
  3. The guardian can switch between children's records seamlessly

Guardian name and relationship field is always shown for patients under 18. All consent forms, notifications, and billing communications go to the guardian.
