Common questions about the Optical module

Which IOL formulas are supported and which is the default?
Clinit includes SRK/T, Hoffer Q, Haigis, Holladay 1, and Barrett Universal II. Barrett Universal II is set as the default for modern IOL calculations. All results are saved to the patient's pre-op record with the keratometry values and A-constant used.
How does the glaucoma monitoring work?
Each IOP reading is plotted on a time-series chart with the 21 mmHg threshold line. Cup-disc ratio (vertical and horizontal), visual field mean deviation, and treatment changes are tracked per visit. Clinit alerts you when IOP is above target or VF is worsening.
Can I track axial length and myopia progression over time?
Yes. The myopia management module records axial length, cycloplegic refraction, and intervention type at each visit. It calculates annual progression rate, projects age-expected final refraction, and generates a parent report showing the effect of treatment.
Does the frame inventory integrate with dispensing orders?
Yes. When you create a dispensing order, you select from the inventory by SKU. Stock is decremented automatically when the order is completed. Reorder alerts fire when stock falls below your minimum threshold.
