Fertility treatment requires precise cycle tracking, trigger timing, and progesterone monitoring. Clinit's fertility module brings structure to one of medicine's most data-intensive workflows.
The Data Demands of Fertility Treatment
An IVF cycle generates dozens of data points across 10–14 days: daily follicle count and diameter by side, E2/LH/P4 levels, medication doses and adjustments, trigger timing, oocyte retrieval counts, fertilisation rates, embryo grading, and transfer details. Tracking this in a generic notes field is error-prone and prevents audit.
Clinit Fertility Module
Ovarian Stimulation Tracking:
- Daily ultrasound scan results — follicle count per ovary, leading follicle size
- Daily E2, LH, and P4 levels with normal range overlays
- Gonadotrophin dose and administration time
- Trigger decision criteria (follicle count ≥3 at ≥17mm, E2 within range)
Oocyte Retrieval Record:
- Total oocytes retrieved, MII oocytes, degenerated
- Fertilisation method: conventional IVF vs ICSI
- Day 3 and Day 5 embryo grades
Embryo Transfer:
- Transfer date, number of embryos transferred, grade
- 12-day post-transfer β-hCG
Outcomes:
- Clinical pregnancy confirmed, heartbeat confirmed, outcome at 12 weeks
Hormonal Chart
The module generates a colour-coded chart showing E2, LH, and P4 across the stimulation cycle. This is the view most RE clinicians want — and the one no generic EMR provides by default.
