Why HR Is Underestimated in Clinic Management

Staff Profiles:
Each staff member has a profile: role, department, contact details, employment type (full-time, part-time, contractor), salary structure, and start date.
Shift Management:
Shifts are defined with start/end times and days of week. Staff are assigned to shifts; the schedule grid shows coverage across the week. Conflicts (e.g., a doctor assigned to two simultaneous shifts) are flagged automatically.
Attendance Tracking:
Clock-in/clock-out is recorded via the Clinit app on a clinic device. Attendance exceptions — late arrivals, early departures, absences — are flagged for manager review and automatically fed into the payroll calculation.
Leave Management:
Leave requests are submitted by staff and approved by the clinic manager within Clinit. Leave types (annual, sick, unpaid, maternity/paternity) are configured per the clinic's HR policy. The leave calendar shows coverage impact.
Salary and Payroll:
Monthly payroll is calculated from: base salary + session bonuses (per completed appointment, if applicable) + overtime hours − deductions for absences/lateness. The output is a payroll report ready for transfer.
