Auto-generating an invoice
When you click Save & Complete Session, Clinit creates a draft invoice automatically with all procedures from the session''s Services tab pre-filled.
The invoice opens immediately for review.
Editing the draft
- Add line items — click + Add Item, select from your services catalogue or type a custom description
- Change prices — click any price field
- Apply discount — fixed EGP amount or percentage
- Add tax — VAT 14% (default, configurable per clinic)
- Insurance deduction — enter the insurer''s share; the patient balance updates live
Sending to the patient
- Click Issue Invoice.
- Choose the channel: WhatsApp, Email, or both.
- The patient receives a link to a branded invoice page with a Pay Now button.
Recording a manual payment
If the patient pays cash or bank transfer:
- Open the invoice → Collect Payment.
- Select: Cash, Bank Transfer, InstaPay, or Cheque.
- Enter the amount and date.
- Click Confirm — invoice status changes to Paid.
Revenue summary bar
At the top of the billing table, a live summary shows:
- Total Billed — all issued invoices
- Collected — payments received
- Outstanding — unpaid issued invoices
- Overdue — past due date, unpaid
- Collection Rate — collected ÷ billed as a progress bar
